Maximizing Photography Business: With AI

As a photographer, there are a lot of tasks that go into running a successful business. From shooting sessions to marketing and administrative work, it can be hard to keep up with everything on your own. In the past, I used to outsource a lot of tasks to other people, but with the advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning, I’ve found that I can outsource a lot of tasks to programs instead.

Editing

One of the tasks that I used to outsource was editing. I would send my galleries to a professional editor who would work on them and then send them back to me. While this was a great option, and she was great to work with, it could be expensive and could take a week to get galleries back. However, with the rise of AI-powered editing software, I’ve been able to outsource my editing to a program called Imagen. This program is designed to copy my editing style, and it does an amazing job. It saves me so much time and money, and my clients still get the beautiful edits they expect from me. But before I even run a gallery through Imagen, I have Aftershoot cull for me! There was a learning curve with both programs but I love using them both equally!

Social Media

Another task that I used to outsource was social media management. I worked with a social media manager to post content on my behalf and to grow my following. While this was helpful, it was expensive, and there was a learning curve for someone else to understand your business and your voice. Since I already have a good understanding of marketing in the photography world, I decided to take it back on myself. With the help of PLANN, I’m able to schedule posts and manage my social media accounts on my own. That program makes it easy to plan and schedule content ahead of time, so I can focus on other tasks. An additional program called Chat OpenAI helps me tremendously when I have writer’s block for captions too!

Overall, outsourcing can be a great way to streamline your business and free up your time, especially if you are like me with little ones at home. While outsourcing to people can be helpful, outsourcing to programs has been a game-changer for me. With AI-powered software, I’ve been able to save time, money, and still provide the same high-quality service to my clients.
